I had the pleasure of staying at Mucha Riverside in Kisoro and I cannot rave enough about it! For starters, the outdoor experience was magical. From the bar, to the games room, to the spa overlooking the stream, to the fireplace.. just wow! They really thought of everything to give the whole family a delightful experience away from home. Don't even get me started on the food. Everything was a HIT. Absolutely amazing! If you haven't already tried their pizza, just know you're missing out. You can tell the chefs cook with love and skill, something I really appreciate as a foodie.
As part of my stay in Kisoro, I went gorilla trekking. The lodge was incredibly helpful in getting us prepared for the activity early morning and after a long day, returning to relax at Mucha was heavenly.
If you're looking for a place to stay in Kisoro, look no further. I can't wait to go back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mucha Lodges along Kisoro Bwindi road 8Kms away from Kisoro town, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The intimate atmosphere of the lodges made for a cozy and welcoming retreat. The food and drinks were exceptional, showcasing a fantastic range of flavors that truly enhanced my stay.
The staff were a highlight—always cheerful and smiling, they made me feel right at home. The gift shop was another gem, featuring a wonderful selection of Ugandan-made products that made for perfect souvenirs.
One of the standout features of Mucha Lodge is the breathtaking sunset view overlooking the stream, accompanied by the soothing sight and sound of local birds. But what truly stole the show for me was the fireplace. It provided a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful Gorillas.
Overall, Mucha Lodges offers a memorable and charming experience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kisoro.

Struttura molto accogliente situata sulla sponda di un fiumicello e dotata di ampio prato con ombrelloni e tavolini all’aperto. Le stanze sono confortevoli. Il personale è fantastico ed il cibo molto buono. Bello gustarsi una buona birra locale davanti al fuoco.

Tolle Lodge direkt am Fluss. Die Anreise ist wegen der Straße nicht die beste aber lohnt sich.
Im Garten kann man zig Vögel beobachten.
Hier kann man wirklich gut abschalten
Bietet sich als Startpunkt für Bwindi an. Genug Zeit einplanen. Die Straße dorthin ist eine Katastrophe

Little piece of paradise! Located in a very rich area, attention to detail, garden overlooking a small stream full of flowers and pints, birds of all colors... Very nice rooms, clean and cozy. Staff helpful and, as always in Uganda, smiling!

Fantastic!
Fantastic place to stay which is only made better by all the incredible staff. Felt so at home. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious food. Beautiful scenery- I didn’t want to leave, and I’m already planning a return visit with friends. Don’t miss out!

Beautiful Lodge managed by great staff
The location is really accurate in all its details ranging from elegant local furniture, idyllic garden, delicious food and confortabile and very clean rooms. The staff Is amazing and fully dedicated to satisfy any request we made. In particular, the manager is really great and well organized! she supported us with all the needs that we had.

Stunning birding experience
This place is just FULL of birds! I am a keen birder but was there to see the Mountain Gorillas (about 2 hours drive away). I have to say that the wildlife in the lodge was more of a highlight than the Gorillas! I got photographs of dozens of bird species in two short evenings, including several specialists of this very special region. I have been in birding hotspots all over the world but this was the best that I can remember. Would love to go back for a much longer visit.

Relaxing and amazing place
My husband and I arrived at the Mucha Lodge in the middle of the afternoon so they weren’t expecting us for lunch. When we asked for something to eat they immediately offered to prepare a sandwich for us. It was delicious and we ate it at the varanda admiring the stream and the birds there. The dinner was wonderful too. The next day we went early in the morning for the gorillas trekking and they prepared a delicious breakfast (5.00 am) and a bag with a lunch for the day. All the time they did everything to please us. The staff are really special. The bedroom was nice, clean with a beautiful view.

Nice hotel, clean and spacious room. Average food... shame about the very long time it takes for breakfast... having the minutes counted for travel, waiting 20 minutes for a cup of coffee is a bit too much... the garden is very beautiful, crossed by a small river populated by various species of birds and butterflies…

A quite place to stay
I slept in this lodge one night. What I really like was that everyone was welcoming and happy and always gentle. the accomodation was comfortbale and they also have a cute shop. I totally recommend it !
